The Desideri family have been selling sweets for more than 100 years, when Stefano desideri used to go around Tuscan villages selling ‘chicci’ in markets and fairs.

In few years, passion and ambition drove him towards opening a retail shop in Mentecatini Terme, a prestigous location famous for politicians and celebrities. The transfer at Montecatini saw the beginning of the production of the Cialde di Montecatini, one of the most famous products of the Desideri family.

Nowadays the production still respects tradition, at Desideri, only natural products are used for the production of these typical sweets, total absent from additives and colourings.
